Used engines are usually priced based on their condition. You can usually purchase them anywhere from $200 up to $1200 or even more for a really good engine.
Depends on the year, engine, and tranny type. Not all with interchange
if it is anything like my 97' Saturn Sl2. The engine must be dropped out to dismount the transmission.
Have it checked out soon and don't let the engine overheat!
Never. The Saturn S series vehicles used a timing chain instead of a timing belt. And the chain is inside the engine, bathed in oil to keep it lubricated. The timing chain should be replaced whenever you rebuild the engine.
If you are removing the clutch it is located between the engine and transmissio so one or the other will have to be removed.
Is what the same? You will need to provide us with more info if you expect a realistic answer.
