LOTS! I would say upwards of $100,000 that's if you can find an airline willing to rent you one. These planes don't come cheep they are worth over 200million dollars. I wouldn't be supposed if they asked you to put down a 1million dollar deposit or even more for insurance just like renting a car. Of course you would get that money back at the end if nothing went wrong.
the Boeing 747 is bigger han the 787. The Boeing 747 can seat over 400 people, but the Boeing 787 can only seat about 300 passengers. The Boeing 747 is the second largest commercial airplane in the world. (the largest commercial airplane in the world is the airbus A380.)
It depends on the airplane you want to buy. A Boeing 747 can cost you millions of dollars.
A Boeing 747-400 is the largest airplane that Boeing make. It has four engines and was designed in 1988. It is the second most recent Boeing 747 that Boeing have made.
Boeing 747 is easily the largest. The "Boeing 900" you refer to is probably the Boeing 737-900 series, which is a short-medium ranged airplane.

A 747-400 consists of 147,000 pounds (66,150 kg) of high-strength aluminum.
The 747 is much larger than the 787. The 747-400's maximum takeoff weight is 875,000 pounds. The 787- 800's maximum takeoff weight is 484,000 pounds.
January 21, 1970 was the first commercial use of the 747.
I'd say the family of B-747 is my favourite, with Boeing 747-206b being on top:)
The Boeing 747-8F cost $352 Million
A Boeing 747 tanks capacity is 54,206 gallons, different models of aircraft would have a different tank capacity.
