10-15K. Cant get low priced flat tops anymore. Nobody wants them. They are ugly. Higher ceilings mean higher prices, but also higher value for your house later

How a Pool Enclosure Saves Money and Time on Maintenance?

Purchasing a pool enclosure allows any swimming pool owner to get more use out of the swimming pool because this protective covering makes using the swimming pool a year-round experience that is more pleasureable than swimming in an unenclosed area open to the environment. There are several benefits to adding a pool enclosure to a swimming pool. A pool enclosure cuts down on the amount of flying insects, bugs and other pests that normally bother sunbathers and swimmers. There’s no reason to have to wear stinky bug repellant because mosquitos and other harmful insects can’t penetrate the pool enclosure. A pool enclosure is also beneficial in keeping water heating costs down because the pool enclosure has a greenhouse effect on the pool as the sunlight streams through and warm the pool. And in the opposite way, a pool enclosure can help prevent harmful UV rays from sunlight from affecting swimmers. Pools protected by a pool enclosure also need less chemical maintenance and need to be refilled less often because there is less water evaporation. Even on windy days, falling leaves and other windblown debris won’t get deposited into the swimming pool water when a pool is protected by a pool enclosure, so there is less daily maintenance to keep the water sparkling clean. When the pool is not being used, a pool enclosure can be locked so that entry by thieves, children, nosy neighbors or loose animals is prevented, adding to the pool owner’s peace of mind. A pool enclosure not only provides a sense of security while using the pool, it also provides a security barrier that prevents humans or pets from entering the pool area uninvited or unwelcomed. Another welcome benefit to outfitting a swimming pool with a pool enclosure is that it helps to create another enclosed living space adjacent to your home, one that can used in every season rather than just in summer or warm weather. A pool enclosure can be built to be attached to the main house, can be constructed separately to make the pool area its own separate structure, or can be attached to the home via a corridor so that the pool owner can walk directly from house to pool without once having to step outside into cold or inclement weather.

How to Decide Which Pool Enclosures are Right for Your Pool?

When it comes to pool enclosures, you will find that they can really do a lot for the life of your pool. When you choose the proper enclosure your pool will end up having a much longer lifetime and will also work much better. 1. Consider Versatility There are pool enclosures out there that have retractable roofs. This is perfect for times whenever you wish to sunbathe instead of swim. Think about if this is an option that you would like to have. It may cost a little bit more but it is something that can help to keep your options open with your enclosure. 2. Think About Safety If you have small children or pets then you may want to consider an enclosure that will be able to provide you with extra security. Even if you do not have children now but plan to in the near future this is still something you may want to consider. One of the best parts of an enclosure is the security that it can bring to your pool area when it is not in use. 3. Think About Size Do you want an enclosure that only allows room for the pool or do you wish to have tables and chairs as well? Pool enclosures come in several different sizes to help you to get the best possible one for your home. For instance, if you and those using the enclosure are not very tall or if it is mainly for children, then look for one that is no higher than six foot. However, if you know taller people then there are plenty of enclosures that are higher than six foot available. 4. Aesthetic Options You of course want your enclosure to be something nice to look at. Try to find one that will go with the décor of your yard. Just because an enclosure has a specific purpose does not mean that it shouldn’t look good while doing it. 5. Price Price is of course one of the most important things that you will have to keep in mind. Make a list of must have features for your enclosure and plan accordingly for your budget.

The Benefits of Having a Pool Enclosure?

If you have a pool, you have surely considered purchasing a pool enclosure. Not only do pool enclosures make your pool much safer, but in many areas of the country they are legally mandated. Pool enclosures, also known as pool fences. They are made of a variety of materials and provide safety pools of all shapes and sizes. Pool enclosures are important for a variety of reasons. First, and most important, they provide a barrier to keep small children or animals from falling in to your pool and drowning. This is one reason it is illegal not to have a pool enclosure in some states in the US, such as California or Florida. Second, pool enclosures may keep unwanted trespassers out of your pool when you are away, especially if the enclosure is equipped with a lock. Lastly, pool enclosures can provide privacy. A large wooden fence, for example, can keep nosy neighbors from watching you as you sunbathe. When choosing a proper enclosure for your pool, it is important to consider for which purpose it will be used. A safety fence, for example, may need to only be high enough to small children from accidentally falling in. A fence of five feet high should suffice for this purpose. If your goal is to keep intruders out, then you may need something much taller that can not easily be climbed. If privacy is your concern, then you will want not only a tall enclosure, but one that can not be peeped through. Most pool supply stores will be able to help you find a basic enclosure, but for more heavy-duty jobs you may need a contractor. Be careful when building enclosures, as some cities or home owner associations might have certain regulations pertaining to erecting certain structures. If in doubt, give your local city ordinance office a call. Remember, even if a pool enclosure is not mandated in your area, it would still be beneficial to get one. If you have small children, a pool enclosure is an absolute necessity. Also remember to never leave children by a pool unattended for even a short period of time. Happy hunting!
