How much jail time you will get for simple assault in PA depends on whether it is a second or third degree misdemeanor. The jail time is between one and five years.
Yes, if you otherwise qualify.

absolutely NOT!!!!
If it's an ongoing felony charge, or a felony conviction, no.
Simple assault is a misdemeanor. Mxximum of not more than one year in jail and/or a fine. Other than that much depends on the seriousness of the assault and the perpetrators' past record.
ONLY the state agency that certifies nurses can answer this question specific to YOUR situation. Call them.

I know in Pa you can not get your charge expunged if you pleaded giulty to it.To get expungment you have to go before a judge and explain your case and they decide if theyre gonna expunge it or not. And you can not get violent crimes expinged.
No state restrictions.
A criminal record is expunged of each individual offense at a time, on the order of the Court. You would have to petition the Court for each individual offense you wished expunged from your record. Whether or not it's expunged is entirely up to the Court.
It depends on what state you live in. In some states it depends on what the assault consisted of (the 'seriousness' of the assault) - in others, ANY KIND of assault on an officer brings an automatic Felony charge. In still other states merely 'resisting without violence' will bring charges. It all depends on the wording of the applicable law in your state.
It general expungement is possible. It all depends from case to case. First you have to make sure that you are eligible for expungement; to do this you will need to contact the relevant authorities in PA.
I believe in Pa. it has 3 levels depending on the severity. I throw a remote control which accidentily hit someone and it is classified as a misdemeanor 2 in Pa. Purely accidental but it still was a crime because New Holland police department believe so
