My starting salary as a registered dietitian was $37,500 full time (Tennesee). It can vary, however, depending on what state or city you practice in, as well as what your specific job duties are (management, sales, etc...). I've seen the salaries ranging from $33,000-48,000 (hospital, community dietitians, health coaches, starting salaries) all the way to $55,000-80,000 and beyond (management, sales, consultants, private practice).
