While it's fair to say most workers may spend more on the group of the many things called taxes, that is income taxes, FICA taxes, unemployment taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, etc., than any other SINGLE item, they more than likely spend much more on many other single items...rent, food, medical, insurance, cars, etc.Concerning income taxes specifically: almost 50% of all people pay no tax at all, and in fact, a large percent of those, through tax credits and other mechanisims, actually get money back.
