You don't breathe out any oxygen. What you breathe out is carbon dioxide, while you breathe in oxygen. I suppose you're asking how much carbon dioxide one breathes out? Or perhaps how much oxygen is breathed in? In either case, it depends on the individual as lung capacities vary.

Lungs don't absorb oxygen, they just are like a storage unit. The blood absorbs the oxygen and expels waste (CO2) into the lungs. The rate at which this happens depends on the partial pressure of oxygen (and carbon dioxide) in the air, but is essentially complete very, very quickly.

Normal air is about 20% oxygen, 79% nitrogen, and 1% "other", including argon, carbon dioxide, and assorted gasses.

When you exhale, your breath is about 16% oxygen, 79% nitrogen, 2% CO2 and some "other" including water vapor. The 16% oxygen in the breath you EXHALE is how mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration works.

When you inhale 13% of the air is oxygen but when you breathe out most of the oxygen in the air has been turned into carbon dioxide so my answer to you is less than 13%

In air there is 20.98% Oxygen, so that's what we inhale.

We exhale 16% of this Oxygen; hence why cardiopulmonary resuscitation is possible.

Do cows breath out oxygen?

Yes, but in the form of carbon dioxide, with contains two atoms of oxygen and one of carbon. Cows don't breathe out the pure form of oxygen; they breathe in oxygen as well as nitrogen from the atmosphere.

You have forgotten how to breathe Could you have some help?

You cannot "forget" how to breathe. When your oxygen levels become depleted, your body automatically has to take a breath. You may have trouble breathing for many different reasons, but "forgetting" is not one of them

Which respiratory system does a crocodile use to breathe on land?

They only have one respriatory system and it is similar to humans. They breath oxygen from ther air with their lungs. When they are underwater they simply hold their breath (and can do so for a very long time). They do not breath water with gills like fish.

Why do you need breath?

Humans and animals breathe to supply the blood with oxygen, and to deliver oxygen-rich blood to all parts of the body. We need to breathe so we have a constant supply of oxygen in our lungs, that can be absorbed by our body. The oxygen is used by cells for respiration, to produce energy. We need to breath because if we don't we will die. We need to take the oxygen in, and let the carbon dioxide out. We need to breath because if we don't we will die. We need to take the oxygen in, and let the carbon dioxide out. People breathe because we need a few things to survive, like food and water, and fresh air and oxygen is one of them. People breathe to survive. The human body has to have oxygen in order to survive so if people did not breathe, they would die. Humans breathe for cellular respiration, meaning for us to live. Otherwise, people would die, because about all the cells in our bodies need oxygen for energy. You have to so you can get air to your lungs to keep your heart beating and pumping blood to your body to survive. Because if not we would die. Breathing is an involuntary action that is controlled by the primitive part of your brain. "in with the good, out with the bad."
