Excessive weight can cause the tissue to be misplaced due to tissue rolling, this will make placing the piercing in the right place a real problem. My piercer told me that there is always a way around it, like they've pierced innies and outties so like even people with barely any navel can get it pierced so i don`t understand why a lil bit more navel would harm it, bbz you'll be grand talk it out with a good piercer and it'll be simple as pie :)

My guess would be you don't have to be skinny. I don't exactly know if that's correct. but my friend got one and she was pretty big, so... i guess not

You don't need to be any certain weight. You're not piercing anything except a little pinch of skin around your bellybutton.
