Because Antarctica is the driest continent on earth -- with only about five percent humidity -- there is no snow. There are blizzard conditions, however, in which ice crystals blow with some density and force.

Antarctica is a continent that covers 10% of earth's surface and is as large a land mass as USA and Mexico combined.

Snow is a phenomenon that requires moisture: Antarctica is arid with only about five percent humidity.

The Antarctic peninsula does experience rain on occasion, and there are areas where the climate does allow snow. But snow is not common on Antarctica.

The ice sheet that covers 98% of the continent is formed by ice crystals that do not evaporate, but settle on existing ice. Over time, the weight of these crystals press all the other minerals out of the ice, making it clear. This process takes millenia. The clear ice is seen in icebergs that calve off the ice glaciers that flow into sea water. This process also takes millenia.

Average snow fall a month is not measured in Antarctica, because it is not a useful phenomenon to measure.
