It all depends on how big the people are! A 3-year old and someone in there 20's aren't gonna eat the same amount! I can tell you though make ALOT because when I cook spagetti for a family of 5 I have to go back and make more because all the spagetti is gone and people are still hungry. You can always save leftovers for a midnight snack or for someone's next meal! :)
