That is a difficult question to answer without knowing the answers to other questions. What state do you live in currently? Is this the only money you will make this week/month/year? What country do you live in, and is the $800 from that country?

In Michigan the best thing to do is save 25% if you know you will be making more money during the rest of the year. It is very unlikely you will have to pay that high of taxes on your money. If you are asking, it is a safe bet you are not making this every day. If you keep 25% however, you'll have enough for your state and federal taxes. You might even have some left over if this is all you're claiming as taxable income.

Your best bet, is to ask an accountant (CPA) near you, a small office accountant. The bigger corporate office style Accountants will usually just blow you off.
