I'm in rabbit 4-H and have 4 rabbits a dwarf rabbit is the same as any other rabbit it should drink as much as it water bottle fills or bowl fills twice a day!
You should allow your rabbit to drink as much as it wants to keep it from becoming dehydrated. You should only worry if it's drinking excessively and not urinating to eliminate the water it drank.
you should give them around 2 cups in a bottle per day and change it each day so its fresh...
You can give water to your rabbit in a bowl or a bottle. Some rabbits prefer one over the other. Either way, the dish needs to be scrubbed out every day to prevent bacteria growth.
Rabbits will drink different amounts depending on how big the bunny is, the weather (more water in hot weather), and what else the rabbit has eaten (fresh leafy greens have some water content). A 2 pound rabbit can drink anywhere from 50 to 150ml per day.
Mini Lop rabbits follow the same feeding guidelines as other pet rabbits. See the related questions for more details. A sample diet for a normal, healthy adult 6 pound Mini Lop could be:
Timothy hay -- unlimited access
Fresh water -- unlimited access
Pellets -- between 1/4 and 1/2 cup
Fresh, leafy greens -- between 1 and 3 cups
Treats (fruit, veg) -- optional; no more than 2 tablespoons
If you're caring for a cottontail rabbit, then you should provide it with unlimited access to fresh water.
Cottontail rabbits are wild animals. Generally speaking, wild animals should be left alone: they shouldn't be cared for as pets. Pet rabbits have been domesticated over hundreds and hundreds of years, but wild rabbits are used to their wild habitat, and kept as a pet they probably won't be very happy or healthy. Many people find wild baby rabbits and think they've been abandoned, when they actually haven't been. Even if the rabbit is abandoned, or ill or injured, it takes a lot to provide for a wild animal, and unless you know what your'e doing and how to access help, you're probably dooming that rabbit to a short, miserable life. If you have a wild animal in your care, find a local wildlife rehabber for help -- see the link below.
Rabbits drink between 50 and 150ml of water per day, per 2 pounds of body weight (so, a 4 pound rabbit would drink twice as much, 100 to 300ml; and so forth). How much water a healthy rabbit drinks depends on the weather (on hot days, rabbits will drink more), and the water content in the other foods they eat (like fresh vegetables).
first answer: 3/4 cup a day.
second answer: That is an awful lot of pellets for a mini lop! 1/4 cup is a more common recommendation.
How much to feed your rabbit, no matter what breed it is, depends on its size and age. 3.5 pounds (1.6kg) is a normal size for an adult mini lop. An adult rabbit of that size should eat between 1/8th and 1/4 cup of pellets daily, depending on how many greens it's eating.
At your next check-up at the vet's, you should ask about your rabbit's weight and diet.
It's very unhealthy for rabbits to overeat pellets. In the long term, it will lead to obesity and poor health. In the short term, it can lead to GI stasis if the rabbit isn't eating enough hay.
Rabbits drink between 50 and 150mL of water daily per 2lbs of body weight (depending on their activity levels, the water content of the foods they've eaten, and the weather). But you shouldn't measure or limit your rabbit's water: let her drink as much as she wants, when she wants.
Mini Lop rabbits, like all pet rabbits, need access to fresh, clean water at all times.
You should put a bottle or bowl in your rabbit's cage. Replace the water every day (or more if you notice that it's empty or covered in hay/debris), and scrub out the bowl or bottle with hot soapy water to get rid of bacteria.
If you notice that your rabbit's not drinking much water, you'll need to encourage her to drink more. Dehydration can lead to illness. Some ideas:
as much as a small dog
It depends on the breed of lop eared rabbit you have. Holland Lops and Fuzzy Lops should eat about 4 oz. of pellets a day, Mini lops should eat about 6 oz., English and French Lops will eat from 8 to 10 oz. of pellets per day.
Same as a normal rabbit, 3 carrots an apple and a stalk of broccoli.
A mini lop rabbit is smaller than a dwarf lop rabbit.
A mini lop rabbit will probably reach its full size between 6 to 8 months
You can breed any rabbit if it is a rabbit and it is the right age to breed.
It's recommended to limit your rabbit's pellets. Pellets are relatively high in protein and fat, even high quality varieties, and if your rabbit overeats then serious illness can result. A healthy quantity for a normal 6 pound adult rabbit is somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 cup per day. See the related question below for more info about the rabbit diet.
yes it is proven that all rabbits can eat the same food as their cousins Not all species of rabbit eat the same foods exactly, but all pet rabbits are the same species (the European Rabbit), so they all eat the same food: water, hay, pellets, leafy greens. See the related question below for more details about what to feed a rabbit: it applies to mini lops and all pet bunnies!

Whichever one strikes your fancy.
Yes, considerably more. You should research on the breed you intend to get throuroughly before purchasing, but usually 2oz of pellets for a mini lop, and for the flemish around about an ounce of pellets for every pound in body weight.
Fruits and vegetables.Dried fruits for example apples and apricots. If you want to feed your rabbit lettuce feed them Romaine Lettuce. If you feed your rabbit iceberg lettuce they may get ill.Rex rabbits eat the same things other pet rabbits eat. See the related question (linked below) for details and helpful links.
Before you get your mini rex, make sure you have a cage and everything you will need. When buying a cage, remember to but for the rabbit's adult size! Make sure the cage is chew proof (wood is ok) and escape proof. Also, get your bunny a nesting box (cardboard boxes work well, but you will need to replace them). Bunnies LOVE the plastic igloos at Petco. Next, make sure your rabbit has a good diet. This should include rabbit pellets, hay, and veggies. I buy my pellets & hay at a local feed store (alfalfa hay is best for older and younger rabbits because it is so rich, but Bermuda is fine too). Mini rex rabbits can eat basically ANY kind of vegetables, and they especially love carrots, apples (no seeds), celery, and lettuce. Before feeding your rabbit anything, you should probably check to make sure it is ok by looking it up online or in a book. Lastly, give your rabbit plenty of chew toys and don't forget to clip its nails (be VERY VERY VERY careful, if the nail bleeds just use corn starch to stop it). Finally, don't forget to play with your new bunny!!!!!!!!
All pet rabbit breeds, including the Mini Rex, should have the same internal temperature. A rabbit's rectal temperature should be between 99-104F (37.2-40C). If the rabbit's temperature is higher or lower than this, immediate veterinary care is necessary. See the related question below for more info and helpful links.
A mini lop rabbit is smaller than a dwarf lop rabbit.
No, Mini Rex Rabbits are almost twice the size of a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit.
