We are always trying to lose weight as per our requirements. There are so many fast weight loss methods; by these methods we may lose 10 pounds in a week but we have to follow very strict diet. Remember, this is not at all healthy and you might regain your all weight. But the recommended weight loss by the nutritionists is 2-3 pounds in a week.

After I've been overeating for a few days, week, whatever and then if I don't eat for a week afterwards (without exercise), I can lose nearly a stone. Half a stone at least, it normally slows down after that. Honestly, it depends on the person and how much they eat / exercise.

That depends on how hard you try. With a carefully controlled diet and plenty of regular exercise you should be able to lose 20-25 lbs w/o risking your health.
