I have been on the Atkins diet many times over the past years. I have found that if done without cheating (20carbs or less a day) i loose aprox 1lb per day the first week and 1/2 lb a day the 2nd week. EVERY TIME!

But be aware that not eating is a bad strategy for weight loss. You will be much healthier, and much more able to stabilize your weight rather than just wildly losing and regaining it, if you reduce your food consumption rather than just not eating. A reduced but nutritious diet is the way to go. And you could still lose something like five pounds a week, if you do it right. But don't be in too much of a hurry. People who lose weight too quickly are likely to regain it just as quickly, when their self-control finally fails.

u can lose quite a lot of weight. ppl lose much much more on 30 day liquid diets tho n this way they r able to NT jus lose weight, bt fat 2.
