A Mariano sheep will yield between ten and eighteen pounds in one shearing. The male sheep is larger and yields more wool than the female.
People don't shear sheep in winter because sheep will get cold if they do. The wool works as a nice warm woolly jacket for sheep in winter, but the sheep like to be sheered in summer, as it gets them wool.
Yes. Sheep grow wool continuously, it is important to shear them at least once a year. Shearing is generally carried out in spring, so that the sheep don't get overheated during summer. In very hot weather, sheep carrying too much wool will get heat stressed and die. If the sheep's fleece gets water logged, it can become cast and unable to right itself. Long fleece is particularly likely to get very tangled and soiled, making the sheep very susceptible to fly bites.
Why do sheep shed their wool? Perhaps because they cannot get an appointment at the barber? Or maybe to keep it dry (in the shed)? Some sheep, such as the Barbados - sometimes called 'hair sheep' or 'blackbelly sheep'' - naturally shed when it becomes warm.
Jarah Mariano weighs 115 pounds.
When breeding a sheep that is producing a high amount of wool most farmers will shear the hind end of the ewe (called crutching), just enough for the vulva opening to be easily accessed. Sheep are shorn annually, so it depends of the time of joining and shearing as to how much wool the sheep will actually have in that area. Also farmers are breeding sheep to have less wool in the breech area so that there is a lower risk of fly strike.
It means what you can normally expect to result; such as how much a recipe should produce.
if you times the sheeps weight with the weight of the ram hu got horny and got the sheep pregnant the answer would come to how many sheep the ewe would have!!! so the answer would be 3847382583275
How much is the fine for failure to yield to emergency vehicle?
ooo i wouldn't get sheep just to keep forage down, get goats sheep require alot more care than goats and need to be shoarn once a year, also they will not be healthy just eating grass they shoud have suppliments. Goats are much better for that kind of thing but require much better fencing
This depends on how much the sheep weighs and the current market rate.
