Maybe "mileage" isn't a proper determinant for whether the air filter needs to be changed?
Really depends on the engine and the environment you're operating it in. Dusty areas will require more frequent filter changes.
Every 35K depending on conditions.
Normall it will last the life of the engine and is changed when the engine is overhauled.
I have found that the filter should be changed around 90K in normal use and 60K in severe conditions. Toyota Tech.
No, it's not. The filter should have some oil in it.
Recommended at every 25,000-30,000 miles

I have a 1985 celica GT and the fuel filter is located above the oil filter on the engine block. If the ST model has a 22re engine it should be the same.
i believe fuiel filter and fuiel pump is one unit inside the gastan for 2003 Toyota 4 runner V8.
A 1996 Toyota Tacoma 4-cylinder is able to use 5w20 weight oil. When the oil is changed, the oil filter should be changed as well.
Sounds like oil filter is the least of your problems
never found a fuel filter and it has no timing belt
Your oil filter should be placed about mid engine to the immediate left of your oil pan. No problem.
I have asked this question of the dealer, twice now. The answer is that it should last for the life of the engine. If you had an older Toyota, like I did, with a timing belt, it had to be changed at an interval recommended by Toyota. No such interval exists for chains, according to my dealer.
