∙ 14y agoI have a Ficus bonsai currently and I water it when I feel the soil is dry. The first couple bonsai I had I watered to much, the roots rotted and they died. Make sure the soil of the bonsai drains well, and ONLY water when it needs it. Again, that would be when the soil is dry. When you do water it, water everywhere around the pot. It you watered it properly, water should be dripping out the holes in the bottom of the pot. It should be good for a day or more, unless it happens to be sucking up water as fast as it can! :)
