They are saying now that you should not give juice until the baby can drink it from a sippy cup and to never give it from a bottle. I have used it to sweeten baby rice cereal (about 6 or 7 months) but only after my child was introduced to baby food fruits. You should always start by giving only 1 type of food at a time in case your child has Allergies, if you mix too many you will be unsure of what the exact cause is which could be harmful. I learned from experience (4 kids) that it is wiser not to give sweetened things to early. Stick with the veggies and other things first and you will have a better eater.
Yes they can! Try and give a bottle or sippy cup of juice and then water for a little bit then milk..ect ect ect.. Try and mix it up for them dont give them the same drink everytime they want a drink.
