Generally this is considered along with the age of consent in your state or Country. 16 years old is the norm in the united Kingdom.
It is normally 12 in the United Kingdom but it all depends what your decision is if you have trouble with the family, say like if you want to live with your mom but your dad wont let you then just contact social services and they will tell you the age for which you have to be in that state and will take help you get what you wish for walsall it is 12 year's of age i don't know about any where else, Hope this helped.
The Legal age of Majority is 18, this is when a person can;
Vote in an Election
Marry without their Parents consent
Drink Alcohol
Be recognised in law as a full adult.
However at 16, a person can;
Engage in a sexual relationship
Hold a Provisional Driving License, but not drive a car, only a Moped
Leave School
Work full-time
Legally in California, a child does not get to choose whom he/she lives with until he/she is 18. HOWEVER, depending on the maturity of a child, around age 12 the court will begin to consider the wishes of the child along with other factors. The reality is, it is difficult to force a 12 year old, 5'8" 150 pound child into a car to go live with a parent they don't want to live with. At what point does forcing a child serve the parent's purpose? Sure, the child is under your roof, and also hating you the entire time. At that point you should ask yourself, are you just doing this to retaliate against your ex-spouse? Simple exposure to a parent will not make a child want to live with that parent - the underlying issues must be dealt with and the child must come to that decision willingly or it will not last. The parent/child relationship lasts a lifetime, and the longevity of it must be taken into consideration when short-term decisions are made.
I believe they should be able to make their own decisions when they are teenagers so that they can learn to make good decisions later on.
And if they make mistakes they will only learn from it!
:P
It depends on the state (or country) you live in and what decisions you are wanting to make.
I think the minimum age that you can make your own decisions is 18 years.
No
That depends on the circumstances of the custody modification. Was it permanent, temporary, was the child adopted, did the parent voluntarily relinquish parental rights or were they terminated by the court? No one here can possibly give you an answer without a lot of detailed information including your legal residence. You should really consult an attorney anyway. He or she would be able to provide an informed and detailed opinion on whether or not you have any rights and if so, what they are.
Education for life should be one that is able to have an all round development of the child namely, academically, religiously and socially. The child should not only be a good student but a good human. He/She should try to develop life skills that will make him/her an asset to society and to the world. Stanley Correa, India
horrible unforget able
You should be able to get your grandchild, because it is not good for the child to have no chance of finding friends and have a normal life, that is never something what a child should live, it is very important that you get your grandchild! Greets from Germany :)
i think no! because elders are more mature then us ....and they are experienced ..so they should take our IMPORTANT decisions...!!!!
You should decide if you want to be with someone who will be responsible for a child that is not yours for the rest of his life.
children still have a problem making there own decisions and thats what parents are for, to help they children make the right decisions and to support them financially and mentally hrough out there life
Children should be taught their mother tongue which i simply agree by saying that a child should follow his/her parents ethnicity .If a child was born by an African he/she should be brought up in an African way of life and this helps to promote other people's generation and mostly in Africa countries. The child should also be responsive to the father, and able to communicate with him.
Most 8 and 9 year olds can play just fine. If the child has good reading comprehension, then he should be able to play.
Check for signs of life on a child every 2 minutes.
Independent means that a person is mature in all ways, able to make and enforce decisions, able to physically and emotionally be efficiently in charge of life's choices and events.
