Obama has recently changed the diving law in New Jersey. He has now said that if you can walk you can drive. So most people can walk before they are one so take those little one's to get there license!!!! hahahahaha
New Jersey has a gradual license program:
The minimum age for a young adult to get their driving permit in New Jersey is 16 years old, after they have passed a written test and completed 6 hours of intructional driving. If the young adult chooses to wait until they are 17 to receive their permit, they will not need to complete the 6 hours of intructional driving.
To receive their license the yound adult must be 17 years of age and have had their permit for at least 6 months. If the above requirements have been met then that person may go to the DMV and take the written and driving test for the 17-year-old provisional license.
After the young adult turns 18, they can go to the DMV and receive a full license.
If you are under age 18. you need to take a motorcycle safety class. Minimum age for learner's permit is 16 and minimum age for a license is 17.
