To my knowledge, the Motion Picture Association of America has the same rules for all of the United States. An R rated movie is prohibited to 17 years or older unless you have an adult with you in the theatre who is 21 or older.
Without a parent or legal guardian, you have to be 17.
No, you must be eighteen.
Everyone will have their own opinion of how old kids should be to watch R rated movies. In order to be admitted to theaters showing R rated movies, kids have to be 17. Parents, of course, can determine if their child can watch them at a younger age at home.
no, it's for 15 and older but some M rated movies like Harry Potter are fine for kids but movies like Scream are not, 2 fast 2 furious are not fine for all kids!
There's no such thing as an m rated movie. That's video games. For video games you have to get a parent to tell the sales person it okay but yes. And movies theres Not Rated, G, PG, PG-13 and R. I'm also 13 and your not supposed to watch rated R movies but if your parents okay it and are fine with it yeah. But always check with them first.
There is no movie in existence that is rated A. There is only G, PG, PG-13, and R. You can watch PG-13 movies as long as you are 12 yrs. old, or older. G and PG movies can be seen by anyone, no matter how old you are. For example, Bambi, The Lion King, and Cinderella are all G movies. Kung Fu Panda is rated PG, along with the new movie, Rango. R movies are for people 18 or older. The movies may contain inapropriate violence, or others of that sort.
Yes, you can watch an R-rated movie with your parents, but I went there today and they my parent bought the ticket and even walked me to the booth and they would not let me get into the movie without a parent watching it with me.course as long as the adult is over 18 who is buying the ticketyou can see a R rated movie at eny age as long as you are with an adult over the age of 18 and 15 is a great age for R rated movies
You have to be 18 or older to watch R rated movies. You can also be 13 and bring a parent.
3d movies are rated just like non-3d movies.
Yes, Nick Jonas is allowed to watch rated R movies. He is not 11 years old.

"R" rated stands for "restricted." It means that if you are under 18 years old, you must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older to purchase tickets and see the movie.
