You should be 12

It depends on when your parents think you should get your own e-mail address. I've seen young kids with e-mail addresses that are only 8 or 9 years old. Other kids got their e-mail addresses at an older age, like 10 or 11 years.

i think they should have them when they are 10 it some time go with what hotmail you go with

go to Yahoo.com or gmail.com or even hotmail.com...you can be any age...it's free too... Another answer: Well, I got an email account when I was in 4th grade. I think that's a pretty good age. If you don't have one by middle school, you should probably get one because once you join clubs and stuff, it can get pretty important. It's a good way to connect with your friends. But beware of junk mail, because it can come often! I think that in order to actually sign up, it doesn't really matter. But don't fake your age, or you might end up getting ecards saying happy 47th birthday!

It depends on what email account you're using. I use 4 of the most common ones (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail and AOL). To what I know, Hotmail doesn't have age limits (I have set up accounts for my children who's 10 and 12 and there doesn't seem to be any problems) , while Yahoo limits its users to only ages 18 and above. You can check for yourself if you use AOL because I'm not very sure. G-mail is 13 and older.

The minimum age before is 13.

But now, I manage to create my own email even though I'm just 12.

The minimum age is 12 or 13.

If you are a supervisor on WikiAnswers and you change your username - how does it affect your WikiAnswers email address?

How Does a New Username Affect Your WA Email AddressIf you change your username, there are 2 things that can be done:We add your new username as an alias to the old email account, but the email address itself does not change (i.e., you keep your old email address). Then, any mail sent to either address will go to your original email address. In this way you will not lose any old emails, and any mail sent to your new username will go there as well. The name on the account will change to reflect your new username, so the transition will be almost unnoticeable. We delete your old account and establish a new email address in your new username. Using this option, all old mail would be lost, but your old username would never show up on correspondence, or in the address book.
