Hi I'm a mother of 4, ages 11,9,2 and 1/2 , and a 12 month old. I have always waited until they were 2 or 3 months, but we live in Florida where the weather is hot and the water is warm. Just make sure the water isn't too cold infants usually do not like and don't submerge the baby or let the baby go in by herself. But remember you bath the baby it is only water.
