The spring part should be towards the motor
my 2001 ford windstar is still overheating even though i changed out the thermostat. what could it be?
The 2001 Mitsubishi Gallant thermostat is located inside of the thermostat housing. You can follow the bottom radiator hose directly to the thermostat housing.
