How tall is mahmoud Ahmadinejad?
Ahmadinejad, according to The New Yorker, is about 5' tall (http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2009/04/13/090413fa_fact_anderson?currentPage=4); however others have noted that he appears to be a few inches shorter than Vladimir Putin, who is about 5'6"-5'7", estimating that Ahmadinejad is then around 5'3"-5'4".

Tall depends on what culture you are talking about. Americans consider basketball players "tall" and they range from six to seven feet tall. The average height for a man in …the US is 5 feet 9 inches, for a woman it is 5 feet 4 inches, so anything taller than that can be considered tall.

Answer Mahmoud darwish. One of the most popular Palestenian and Arabic poets of all time. He was one of the few poets that will have huge crowds at his poetry reading e…vents up until the time he passed away in August 2008. He is known for his patriotic poems and he called for freedom and justice for Palestenians. He was nominated for a Nobel prize in literature. He contributed to the modern Arabic poetry by the extensive use of symbolism in his work. More at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahmoud_Darwish

To be totally precise "Ahmadinejad" is just what most in the western press choose for general use. In the original Farsi (as spoken in Iran) محمود احمدی نژ…اد translates as follows: The first name, Mahmoud, means "praised" or "praiseworthy." His last name, mistakenly spelled as Ahmadinejad, is actually a compound name and it would be more properly presented in English as two names "Ahmadi Nejad." The second part of his last name, Nejad, is a Persian suffix that means "descendant of." The first part, Ahmadi, means "highly praised" or "most highly praised." So when he signs his full name, he looks down at the piece of paper and reads in Farsi: "The Praised Descendant of the Most Highly Praised." Which sounds almost like the title "Son of The Most High." Not necessarily, but it increases the likelihood that you will be tall if you have a good diet and do not suffer disease or injury that would prevent your reaching your "norma…l" height.

You are considered tall if you are of greater than average height. Children growing up would often be considered tall if they are taller than other children in their class… or age group. Though people's perceptions vary, men would generally be considered tall if they are taller than 6 feet or taller in most countries. Women who are 5'9" or taller would be considered tall in most countries. ----------- For Caucasian adult males, anything over 6'0" would be considered officially "tall." For Caucasian adult women, anything over 5'8" would be considered officially "tall." The "average" height range for adult men is between 5'9" and 6'0". Anything below 5'9" would be considered short. For women, the "average" height range is between 5'4" and 5'8". Anything below 5'4" would be considered "short" for a woman. On average, men are five inches taller than women, so a 5'10" man is equal to a 5'5" woman. Also, most of all female supermodels are between 5'9" and 5'11". Anything below or above that is considered highly unusual in the fashion industry. Tall Men = Over 6'0" (183 cm) Tall Women = Over 5'8" (173 cm) "Average" Male Height = Between 5'9" (175 cm) and 6'0" (183 cm) "Average" Female Height = Between 5'4" (163 cm) and 5'8" (173 cm) Short Men = Under 5'9" (175 cm) Short Women = Under 5'4" (163 cm)
No, he only speaks Farsi, the language of Iran. However He is familiar with some words and phrases in Arabic, as most Iranians are.
Mahmoud Darwish is from a Palestinian Muslim family. I never got the impression that he is religious. He didn't see himself different from Palestinian or Arab Christians, but …he did value his heritage. He also emphasized that as a Palestinian with Palestinian history, he was a Canaanite, a Greek, a Hebrew, a Turk, and an Arab. He was against Christian and Islamic extremism and the extremism of the Zionism that leads to ethnic cleansing. His heritage is Islamic as the last name Darwish indicates, but he was open to other traditions and cultures and a Leftist, socialist.
The answer is liberal.
