How would you know if someone really loves you?

You will never know 100%. It's impossible. Distance can be hard on a relationship.

A long-distance relationship when it comes to war and your mate is away fighting for his country is a lot different than just someone living in Another Country or State.

Personally, I stayed away from long-distant relationships as I knew they were more trouble than they were worth. There is only a very small percentage that survives.

You have choices and one is either you move where this person is or they move where you are. If this person phones you a lot, writes or keeps in contact by email they are a keeper. If they started to phone, etc., and it's dwindling this is usually a sign that "distance doesn't always make the heart grow fonder."

Long distance or not, you won't ever have a way of getting "proof" that someone really loves you. Just like in any other relationship, you have to trust and love them enough yourself to believe that they're being honest with you when sharing such strong feelings. I wouldn't even really say that dwindling phone calls are a sign of a failing long distance relationship. I mean, if they went from phoning every day to once a week, that's one thing. However, if the phone calls remain daily (or every other day, whatever you're accustomed to) and the conversations just get shorter, that just means you're running out of things to talk about and should probably plan a meeting soon if possible just to get reaquainted and have something to look forward to and talk about! If that's not possible, just try and play on your common interests. There has to be some, or you wouldn't be in the relationship in the first place. Long distance relationships are hard, there's no doubt about that, but they're not impossible.

When two people really love each other and the goals are the same then distance or no other force can come between them. Generally what happens is some lonely individual in the same city as one of the individuals will attempt to plant seeds of doubt or discord into the heads of one of the parties and entice them to check out the grass on the other side. If you have two individuals that are strong enough to survive this type of temptation and deception then yes they will survive. Bear in mind a lot of relationships that are right in the same city do not survive and that is because one is not on the same page as the other one. It is all about the two individuals and how strong their love and desire to be together and make it work is. The difference in distance and someone being right there is the fact that that person is there to go places and do things with all the time which will eventually get old especially if it is sexually based whereas when someone is away if you keep a positive outlook on your mate and trust them it can be one of the most beautiful encounters ever. I mean you are not running up under each other (getting on one's nerves) all the time, both parties have time to breath and exhale, it gives you more time to think and miss one another, it gives each party time to develop themselves spiritually, physically, and naturally. And if one is fighting for their country it gives you a respect for them and all the benefits that come with the military one should be grateful and respect the spouse or other party for this and stand behind them because trust me someone will support them one day and reap the benefits. It may not be you if you are a give me right now and faithless person but for the true one who is they will reap great benefits. So it is worth fighting for but ensure that the one you are fighting to be with wants this as much as you especially if it is long distance. But know that there are probably more failed local relationships than long distance ones. Furthermore, if someone really loves you whether it be local or long distance they will trust you, respect you, and show you on the flip side if they don't love you they will show you too by not doing anything.

When someone knows most of your faults and weaknesses, but loves you anyway, is when you can tell. Other than that if he/she will take a bullet for you and put themself in danger to save or help you then you can tell he/she really loves you. I should know from experience that not everyone is going to stick around. So if you really want to now if they truly love you then take this challenge. Don't talk to them or see them for 6 months and afterward if they are still around and didn't date anyone during that period of time then keep them because they are in love with you. Trust me it works.

So how would you know if they didn't date anyone?

Its not a spontaneous event, but one that is realized over time. If you look at the individual, over time you will learn by the little and sometimes subtle things he/she does. You get to know them as a person, their character, values, and ethics, his/her trustworthiness, reliability, and dependability. Also how they treat others. In addition, that person will always build you up, never tear you down, will encourage you and never discourage you, and will hold you up when you are down. Thus, if that person says he/she loves you; you will know it in your heart by all the above traits.

When they are able to show you through their actions, words, deeds, and resources. For instance, you could be hitting a rough spot in your life where most of your so called friends have turned their backs on you. If this person would be able to help and assist you in weathering the storm, and provide an escape from it through their kind and considerate deeds and actions, regardless of their resources limitations, this would show you that they have true love for you.

as for me..the answer is simple. let's just make it this way. this is what i feel:

1. when someone really loves you, he will cry for you. Especially when that someone really misses you.

2. when someone really loves you, he/she seems love you more than he/she loves himself/herself.

3. when someone really loves you, he will call you just to hear your voice.

4. when someone really loves you, he/she makes you a star.

Another big thing is that if he really loves you he will ditch his guy friends just to hang out with you(: he will not care to hold your hand or tell you your beautiful and that's he loves you in public, he will tell his mom how much he cares or he will go to one of your friends and have a talk with them just to tell them how much he loves you. Or a big thing is that he will leave you a message on your phone that says I'm calling you to tell you he loves you! I think it is so sweet but if a guy is rushing you to have sex he isn't the one he wants it and he will leave i have experienced this, and I'm telling you its hard to find a good guy that don't play so if he does these things KEEP HIM!

its hard to find someone that will some you for you believe me

the only way to know if someone truly loves is if they know your flaws and that's what they love about you they will drive 3 hours just to see you because you called them up saying you had a bad fight with your friends/parents

they constantly call you up at the randomest times just to hear your voice

they ask you out and when you say you i don't know they keep asking and asking even if you say you don't know they just want to know that you want to see them

there is so many better answers and more i could talk about this for hours but in general my advice/answer may not be the best because there is so many different ways to express your love to someone
