How must food be prepared to be classed as halal?

In Islam, for meat to be halal the animal has to be killed in a prescribed religious manner. If you want to buy halal meat you have to go to halal butchers; they supply themselves directly from authorised slaughterhouses.

Kosher meat (where the animal is killed according to Jewish religious Law) is accepted as being halal in Islam, so if you don't have a halal butcher nearby you might go to a Kosher one instead.

If it is not halal it will be haram.

Certain meats are always haram. They come from animals who might consume meat themselves, meaning predators and scavengers. A lot of fish and water creatures come into that category, for instance Pike and bottom feeding animals such as crabs and prawns (they feed from the remains of dead animals). Muslims will eat these meats or not depending on how strict they are in that respect and you should really ask before feeding it to them. Haram land animals are more obvious and no Muslim will ever eat them: dog, cat, hyena, vulture, etc..., and pig who will feed on just about anything you might give him!

Meat cant be halal after the sheep is killed and the meat is chopped or cooked ,, In Islam we have to put the sheep or the animal we are going to kill towards the Kaaba , and by saying 'Bismillah' which means the god name .

If its slaughtered by cutting the two main veins in the nick in merciful way as much as it can possible and praise the name of god while slaughtering its halal, plus the killing should be scened infront other animals and hide the knife from the killed animal before killing.

Animals those are allowed to eat as halal also is restricted,for example u cant eat snakes, lions, rats,eagles,blood,insects,,etc.

Predators animals in general are not halal to eat.

In few word animals that eat other animals are not allowed to eat as halal.(exceptionally fish)

Unfortunately most Christian countries nowadays are not following the true Christianity slaughtering because of materialism life style and capitalism nowadays so most of american and European countries are killing animals by using gas chambers or knocking on animal heads in factories plus speading of Atheism in those countries.

Ofcourse other beliefs meat doesn't consider as halal meat like the meat coming from brazil and china or most of eastern asian countries unless it has halal certificate labels on meat pack.

Fish for sure is always halal since u dont need to slaughter so its a substitute if u cant find halal meat.

In islam those rules were regulated for the benefits of human being on long terms and for human body health.

Like other forbidden things like alcohol ,gambling, adultery, using interests in bank loan those all are haram(not halal) because of the corruption that will grab for human societies and we have witnessing that with our own eyes.

Eating non halal food causes most of the diseases we are witnessing nowadays such as sars,covid19 .

Adultery causing huge social corruptions and changed the spiritual relation between wife and husband to become only about sex benefits which open the door to kill millions of babies in abortion clinics every year and millions of kids living with single mothers and dont have an idea about their real dad is.

Gambling and Alcoholism also playing apart in causing major society problems like divorcing cases and home violence aside from crimes and car accidents that kills millions every year because of alcohol.

Interests of loans causing the biggest problems of the last 2 centuries since only less than 0.1% of businesses controlling more than 50% of planet economy.

Banking system nowadays is responsible for most of poverty and starvation and wars all over the world just fill the greed of those capitalism materialistic ideologies which allow the rich get more rich and poor more poor in unequalled system.
