Got white enmal paint on two pairs of pants. Tried washing first pair did not help . Then put paint striper on paint and left for 10 min . Then soaked stained area in turpentine .The stain has decreased but is still eaisly visable. Second pair of pants put in boiling water with washing powder left for 10 min .Then brushed area with tooth brush .The paint is gone. Used this method on first pair but no result. On basis of this very in complet test . I would say ony used second method and nothing else before hand.

∙ 9y agoThe best way to remove enamel paint from wood is using paint stripper, in a well-ventilated area. After the majority of the paint is removed, use a fine-grit sandpaper to sand the area. Wipe the area down with a soft, clean cloth to remove any dust from the sandpaper.

How do you caulk a bathtub?
Grout is porus and degrades after time, the proper item to use would be caulking ( non porus and waterproof) also degrades, but can be replaced easily. Grout is preferred because it lasts longer, is pourous to a degree and will let water evaporate so that mold will not grow.
