You should be able to reach the child lock around the side of the seat back. Get in the back seat.Go to the height of the lock on the seat back. Pull the seat back away from the door. You should be able to see the child lock. You may need a screwdriver to trip the lock. I know this works, I've done it several times on my 92 Prism (Toyota). You can locate it easier by looking at the other door. I also did it in less than a minute.

Q: How would you get the rear door of a 93 Toyota Corolla open if the outside handle stopped working and the inside handle didn't work because the child safety lock was on?
