I'm catholic if I change my religion to daoism would that be considered the unforgivable sin in the Catholic religion?

Yes! it considered sin against the church and against God because you did not really understand your own religion.Also you lose your hope in this religion.It is considered a sin of despair.Before you will convert to Daoism, you must investigate your own faith.If you are not pleasing with the Catholic,then transfer to that Chinese religion. It is more better,you will become morally good because of the good Philosophy.In Catholic,you can be good if you imitate Jesus Christ.His goodness is far more than Lao Tse and they are not equal.
