Bad sign.... You'd better do a pregnancy test.
Considering the fact that a non-leap year having 28days in February will definitely have 4 Tuesdays , we have to find the probability that the 29th day of a leap year (2008) is also a Tuesday. This probability is 1/7 i.e 1 out the probable 7days in a week ! Well this said, this question is void in a sense knowing that we are in 2010 and that February 2008 had 5 Fridays and therefore the probability of 5 Tuesdays is ZERO as of 2008 !
$4,564,493. How do people weigh and price gold?Gold is NOT MEASURED in standard ounces/pounds! Instead, precious metals use TROY ounces/pounds. See:How_many_ounces_in_one_pound_of_goldAs of 11:00 am EST Tuesday Sept. 6th, gold is $1,895.90 an ounce.A Troy pound contains 12 Troy ounces, which are about 31.1 grams each, for a total weight in regular ounces of 373.24 grams. 200.63 Troy pounds = 2,407.56 Troy ounces, times $1,895.9 = $4,564,493.
The formula for coefficient of variation is %CV = standard deviation/mean X 100 (CV's are reported in percentage form). So say you're testing for fibrinogen in blood, and you run your standards or your controls three times. The INTRAassay CV is the CV for the three sets of standards in that one assay. You would calcuate the mean and standard deviation for Standard 1, Standard 2, etc. and come up with the CV for each and then average the CVs of each standard to come up with the intraassay CV. This shows the amount of variation among the standards for that one test. Now say you run a set of blood samples on Monday and then run another set on Tuesday with a second set of plates or wells. The INTERassay CV is the amount of variation between the standards you used on Monday and the standards you used on Tuesday. You would calculate the mean and standard deviation for Standard 1 (Day 1 and Day 2), Standard 2 (Day 1 and Day 2), etc. to come up with the CV for each and then average the CVs like before. This gives you the interassay CV. A lot of ELISAs will actually calculate the CV of each standard for you.
Since there are seven days of the week, and there is no particular reason why more people would be born on one day of the week than on any other, the probability (for a randomly chosen person) is 1/7.
WHAT THE HELL IS A CATEGORICAL VARIABLE! Actually hell may be an observation in a categorical variable what we might call "place of final rest". The term, categorical variable, can best be difined by examining it parts. The categorical part: a grouping of things with like characteristics, i.e., the going to hell group and the going to heaven group. Or how you group the women in a bar; the women with blonde hair, the women with red hair and the firey redheads. But notice there are different colors of hair; that is, hair color varies -- did I say varies? Yes I did. So when something varies or changes what do we have? A variable!! We can thing of hair color as a categorical variable. But notice also that we can think of sex as a categorical variable. But there can be only categories in the variable sex, male or female; unless your talking about the act of sex in which case, that is for me, there is only one category, infrequent. You might say that gender or sex can vary in only two ways, either you're male or you're female; there are no other choices. This means that the categorical variable has two degrees of freedom. How many degrees of freedom are in the categorical variable, sexual preference? So what do we have after all of this horseshit: things change; that is they vary. The number of blondes in a bar changes from night to night. Go to the bar and take a tablet with you. OK, you can scribble on a napkin if you want to...just don't get it soaked in beer. Write this prase at the top of the napkin: Number of blondes in the bar tonight." Beside that write the day, Monday, Tuesday, ect. Now sit and sip you draft and count the number of blondes on a Monday night and write that number down. 36 blondes on Monday night. Do the same for the other nights in the week. Here's the way your table might look: Day of Week Number of Blondes Mon 22 Tue 54 Wed 120 Thu 12 Fri 18 Sat 77 Sun 0 What can we say about the table. Well, we can say that we have counted the numberof blondes in the bar by day of the week. This is called tabulation or tallying. What are the categorical variales in the table? Notice anything unusual about Wednesday night?
It is possible to fall pregnant on this time line you have suggested. After a miscarriage, I expect a woman to ovulate for the first time between 3-6 weeks after. Therefore if you had a miscarriage a month ago, it is possible you are ready to or have ovulated for the first time. When starting birth control, it is advisable to take "other" precautions for the first seven days. Therefore if you started the birth control Sunday, and had unprotected sex on Monday & Tuesday, you would not have been protected. You may be pregnant again.
Roughly Tuesday February 3rd 2009

Yes. Even if you had taken every pill, they recommend using additional protection during your first month on the pill. You should take every single pill next month, and continue to use additional protection for another month.
