Depending on your insurance carrier and the type of coverage you have, the answer should be yes. Any procedure that is invasive is considered surgery by virtually all insurers. That is especially true if it is group coverage through an employer. There are some exceptions depending on whether the plan is self-funded by the employer, the State you live in, etc. But the overall answer for most insurance plans should be that it would be covered.
