No I dont actually think so. I suggest Springfield because there are many there
some people say they are heavy metal but I say they are screamo
No there not, The my are a heavy metal bad, not a screamo band. Some screamo band are satanic, not metal.
Emos like punk, punk rock, rock, hard rock, metal, heavy metal and screamo.
Robert Mulder generally listens to hardcore screamo/heavy metal music.
Here are some heavy screamo bands: Saosin, Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Alexisonfire, Emarosa, Dance Gavin Dance, Through Arteries, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Chiodos etc.
death metal is not the same as screamo death metal came first so if anything screamo could be considered a type of death metal but not the other way around
I wanna know the same thing. :O
Metal/Core genres feature the majority of "screamo"
It's a little screamo, metal, and post-hardocore. All in one.
No. Heavy Metal (the genre) are bands such as Iron Maiden, MotorHead, Black Sabbath, and Judas Priest. Sceamo are bands such as Alesana, Escape the Fate, and Black Veil Brides. In a more in-depth answer, Heavy Metal is just generally heavier than screamo both lyric-wise and sound-wise (Considering the heavy metal is an umbrella term ranging from Heavy Metal itself to Death Metal the heaviest of all genres.) Screamo did not come until alot later when Emo bands started to take influence from Post-Hardcore bands thus creating Screamo (Screamed-Emo music.)
the word "screamo" is false. No one uses that term in the metal world, I'd know because I'm a metalhead. Mudvayne is a math-metal/nu-metal band. The word screamo implies an emo band with screaming. Mudvayne aren't emo, so they aren't screamo.
Screamo, Alternative, and Heavy Metal are three very different musical styles. Maybe you need to decide which one you're looking for. Don't know offhand if any bands are looking... you can your local Craigslist, or perhaps the forums at Sonic Cathedral (see related link below).
