check the tension to make sure that it is not to tight or to loose, if you can twist the belt 180 degrees, it is too loose, if you cannot twist it at least 45 to 90 degrees it is to tight, also check to make sure the belt is aligned correctly on the pulleys, hope that helps, if not try the bottle of belt dressing, auto zone or somewhere like that should have it.
It could be a bearing in an idler pulley.
Check for a slipping drive belt between encine crank pulley and AC compressor pulley.
I think we figured it out. Believe it is the throw out bearings.
the belt only goes around the crank pulley and alternator pulley
Loosen the tensioner pulley. Put the belt around the alternator pulley and the tensioner pulley. Move the tensioner pulley to the right until the belt is tight. Tighten the tensioner pulley.
Spray hairspray on the belt if it is making the noise or replace the belt or the pulley if its making the noise.
Crankshaft pulley diameter X RPM / alternator pulley diameter = alternator Rpm
you need to replace the alternator
did you check the water pump, alternator and anything else that might have a pulley?
Moving clockwise starting at the Alternator pulley - over power steering pump - down under compressor pulley - over to torsional damper - around damper to auto tensioner - around auto tensioner - back to alternator pulley.
Remove and inspect the belt(s). Inspect and replace idler pulley's or belt driven accessories that don't spin smoothly and quietly by hand with belt removed. Re-install belt and adjust to proper tension. Be sure the battery tests good and is fully charged.
There are about three or four screws around your alternator that u will have to remove, once you do it, you will have to pull on the lower left pulley to remove it, when putting the new alternator in you pull on the same pulley and put the screws back in place
