If I use old used barn board for paneling inside a cabin Im building should I be afraid of insects insect eggs or other things coming out of the wood and should I kiln dry it to try and kill anything?

Most barn wood is made from locally cut oak wood. Many insects can bore through it successfully. If you don't see any borer holes in the wood you should be okay. If in doubt, you can spray the wood with a product called malathion. This will kill any insect that is in it or comes in contact with it.
