The Speaker of the House becomes the president if both the President and Vice President should die. As of 2014, the Speaker of the House is John Boehner.
There has never been a Speaker of the House to be elevated to Vice President and then to President. However, if the President and Vice President was to die or resign, the Speaker of the House would be next in line.
If both the President and the Vice President are unable to serve, then the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives would become President.
