In addition to providing your new address, if you already know what it will be, to all of your family, friends, and associates with whom you wish to share that information,, you must also be sure to fill out a change of address card with your local post office to ensure that future mail to your previous address does not go astray. You must also notify your bank, credit untion, utility providers, business and employment associates, etc., with that same information. To simply move to a different state without notifying other concerned parties is not only inconsiderate and a very poor business practice, but brings into question with others your character and the "real" reasons you moved.
