Doctors have a low threshold for reffering patients with breast lumps for further investigation. the doctor can tell my the shape and feel of theump wheter it's something ominous or not. I had one in February and having gone to the doctor I had a letter from the hospital for a scan and review by a specialist which included an examination and ultrasound, within 2 weeks. I was worried by their haste but thankfully, as the doctor had suggested it was nothing. I have naturally lumpy boobs. Hmm. Good luck.
