If you have 3 black molly fish but 1 has disappeared you think it was ill is it possible that it died and the other 2 ate it it was still there yesterday so it seems weird that it went so quickly?

If you've got a fish bowl and one fish goes missing and you have no cats and no one else removed the fish, then yes, I think it's safe to assume that the other two ate it. If there's a filter, check it for fishy remains just in case.
