A pap smear screens for Cervical cancer. Blood tests can check for HIV, hepatitis, or syphilis. Additional testing for trichomonas, gonorrhea, and chlamydia is available, and is not done with a pap smear or blood test. Contact your health care provider to ask specifically for the testing you require.
