Multifunction Switch, the turn signals, wiper blades, and headlights. This multifunction stalk can fail. Oddly enough so can your key. When you start your car the key should be rotated backwards after ignition. If the spring fails or the key binds then this does not happen, typically you will not have a blower motor for heat and a/c at the same time. Simply turn the key backwards to a normal "on" position and retest. first of all make sure that the right flasher was changed. there usually is one for the turn and one for the hazzard. they are identical.
Most likely turn signal flasher needs to be replaced
The flasher is just for controlling the intermittent electrical current. There is also a fuse in the fuse block under the dash. It could be in the switch on the column.
the flasher unit is up behind the driver side .Its up and behind the fuse box . you will need to laying on you side to see it. just pull it out and replace it. If that doesnt fix it it could be the plastic on the switch . i just replaced it.
Could be turn signal flasher Could be problem with switch in steering column Could be turn signal flasher Could be problem with switch in steering column
your flasher is bad i had the same problem and replaced the flasher .it is located behind your e brake lever in dash there are 2 one emergency and one for turning the top one is turning
The most likely cause of this problem is that the turn signal flasher is starting to "stick" and needs to be replaced. Depending on the mode year of the van, the flasher could be in different locations, but the most common spot is under the dash, near the steering column.
Could be flasher Common problem on this vehicle Flasher is part of the hazard warning module
I just had the same problem and found that my rear turn light bulb went out and the turn signals no longer worked. Check any of the turning bulbs. You may have replaced the hazerd light flasher. There are two flashers, the turn signal one is near the hazerd one under the dash.
The problem could be that your flasher switch is going out. I had the same problem on my 99 blazer. It sounded like a bee buzzing in my dashboard. Had the switch replaced and problem was gone. Hope this helps.
Depending on what type of vehicle it is, it could be the combination flasher relay. 2000 Dodge Caravan, same problem. Replaced DRL/Flasher Relay, problem fixed. Was an expensive dealer only relay...
be sure you are getting current on both sides of your turn signal switch when you turn on the blinker. This could be the problem.
Burnt out bulb.
