Glass conducts heat away from your finger more effeciently than wood making it "feel" colder. The wood can only draw a certain amount of heat out of your finger before its limit is met, while the glass' chrystaline structure allows it to act as a heat sink much better than the frame.
Condensation.... The colder temperature of the glass, causes the water vapour in your breath to condense out.
A blackboard would be the same temperature as the rest of the room. If the sun shone through the window directly onto the blackboard, the blackboard would absorb more of the sun's heat, and become warmer that the rest of the room.Dark colours absorb heat better than light colours.
1.0 Ambient temperature may be more than 46 degree centigrade. <br> 2.0 Problem with ac e.g. scaling on condenser/evaporator tubes, chocking of radiator, gas leak etc.
It depends on the BTU of the air coditioner, the cubic footage of space in the room to be cooled, and the temperature and humidity in the room. Under best conditions, an standard air conditioner can only cool a room to the mid 60's. Any colder than this causes the evaporator to ice over, clogging the air flow into the room, which causes the temperature to rise, even though the air conditioner is still running.
Since warm air is less dense than cooler air, the cooler air in the room pushes the warmer air up. It then dissipates into the room, mixing with the air in the house. The average temperature of the air would rise as a result, but cooling forces (winter, air conditioning or an open window) tend to keep the average temperature more or less constant.
Window coverings can make the temperature of an enclosed area warmer when installed. Window coverings such as external roller blinds can block light as well as air circulation inside enclosed spaces. If you want to make the area warmer, installing window coverings would be a great idea.

If the aluminum and wooden window frame are at the same location they must be the same temperature. Since aluminum conducts heat more readily than wood it will conduct body heat away from your hand more readily and feel colder.
well, during the summer in the north it is warmer. if you do not have thermal-pane windows then it will feel warm or cold depending on the outside temperature. solution to problem: thermal pane windows.
The room becomes cooler because warmer air goes out, and cooler air comes in.
No, not toxic. Just silly. The air conditioner works on exchanging heat for cool. If you run the ac unit indoors, it will actually get warmer!
I would believe a demister is actually commonly know as a rear defogger. A long coil that loops the rear window that heats up to remove condensation caused by the interior of the car being colder than the temperature outside the car. Think of it this way: A glass filled with ice-water will have moisture on the outside of the glass. Imagine if you warmed the glass to the same temperature or higher than the air around it, the moisture would evaporate. The rear demister works in the same way. The lines going across your rear window is actually a single thin piece of metal with wires attached on either end. When electricity is applied, the metal heats up warming the window.
Curtains act as your windows insulation, maintaining a buffer between the heat contained in your house, and an outside colder temperature, that can easily seep into your home via weak spots that promote a draft. Not only are window spaces essentially, a hole in the wall to the outside, but that hole has been filled by a relatively thin hard surface in comparison to the thickness, and insulation the wall around it provides. A curtain is a wonderful way to keep your space warmer, especially if you have a large window.
Yes, the warmer the temperature the faster it should dry, if you keep it out in the sun for a while it should in a sense bake on to your window rather than if you left it in the shade or in the cold the adhesive would take a longer time to bond and wouldn't bond as well.
Putting a Aquarium near a WINDOW would make the water warmer because the sun would reflect the water warmer. So that is how putting a aquarium next to a window would make the water warmer!!!~Thanks~ Hope you ask questions later!!HAVE FUN and Happy asking!!
Yes it`s ok. For a window unit outside temp does not matter. Thermostat operates according to the indoor heat load.
