Do you ever try by pressing the brakes and then turn back off the key ti works, or press the release transmission button, and turn back the key
no, once anything is burnt, it cant be "converted" back. examples- rubber and paper. does this help?
It may be that when you shut down your car earlier you had your steering wheel turned just so. Try inserting your key in the ignition and turn your steering wheel just slightly and see if that will unlock the switch. I had that happen to me and that is all I needed to do. Hope this helped.
