There is no place in the US (or North America) that you can get married without parental consent at an age younger than 18.

And its for a reason. way too young and naive at that age no matter how sure you "KNOW" you are.

I think that 16 and 18 is way too young to get married! You should wait till your 23+. Well i spose that's my opinion. You might not like being with this guy. You might think u r happy with him, but u should just wait. Im 16 and im dating a guy the same age. I love him with all of my heart and he is moving 45 minutes away from me, and he only lives nextdoor. Its good to have a bf living next door but its very upsetting when u find out he's moving. I would luv to marry him but my mother would go off her nut if she found out we wanted to get married. You might be able to go to Africa, but if he takes you out of the country, there are a whole number of other problems, like kidnapping to worry about. Shucks, if he takes you across the state line without parental permission he's in trouble.

Get a younger boyfriend and don't be in a hurry to get married. Just think, when you hit 30, he's going to be 59 and he's already older than your parents!
