1916 New York Giants -- their famous 26-0-1 streak (considered to be a win streak, since baseball ignores tie games) was entirely at home. http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/NYG/1916-schedule-scores.shtml?redir The 1988 Boston Red Sox won 24 straight at Fenway, which I recall is the AL re…cord. Wins on 6/25-29 (5), 7/15-24 (+11, 16, there's a doubleheader in there), 7/29-8/3 (+6, 22, another doubleheader), and 8/12-13 (+2, 24), finally losing to Detroit. (MORE)
This was true up until 2008.. Michigan definitely does not have it now. Since the question is about the current winning streak and not the past, Florida State University (FSU) has the longest streak of consecutive winning seasons. That may be in jeopardy as they are 6-6 going into their Bowl game. F…SU & WVU meet in the Gator Bowl New Years Day. The game was sold out within hours of the matchup. In fact, they had to bring in 6,000 extra seats bringing the total to almost 84,000 which will be more than any BS Bowl brings in. FSU has beaten WVU in the 2004 Gator Bowl when WVU was a much better team than they are now. We'll see if that streat continues. They also beat them in the 1982 Gator Bowl. The only other time they've played. Linfield has not had a losing football season since the 1950s. (MORE)
The Lakers won 33 in a row during the 1971-1972 season. In NCAA history, Kentucky has the all-time streak at 129 straight home games from 1943-55, but this claim is dubious. As for NCAA single season winning streaks, the '57 tarheels and the '76 hoosiers are tied with perfect seasons at 32-0.
In MLB, it is the 1982 Atlanta Braves and 1987 Milwaukee Brewers with 13 consecutive wins to start the season.

The longest win streak is held by the 1992-1993 penguins with 17 games. The longest home win streak is held by the 2011-2012 Detroit Red Wings at 23 games The 1979-1980 Philadelphia Flyers hold the longest undefeated streak (wins and ties) at 35 games.
The most consecutive wins in a single season and to go on to win the Super Bowl, the answer would be the Miami Dolphins in 1972, in which they won 17 games (regular and post-season). This was, and still is, the NFL's ONLY perfect season. The 2007 Patriots won 18 games in a row in one season. Havi…ng a "perfect" regular season while bowing to the giants in the super bowl. The 2003-2004 Patriots have the longest winning streak over the course of two seasons including playoffs. That is 21 games in a row. The 2008-2009 Colts had a 23 win "Regular season streak" that was not a real streak as it was broken up by a playoffs loss. So I guess the real answer is The Patriots have the longest actual steaks... 2007 or 2003-2004 depending on what you're asking about. *Note* The Green Bay Packers have a 17 game winning streak and counting so far. They have to go 16-0 to beat the record (22 Games). (MORE)

(2008) In 1997, the Redskins moved into the new FedEx Field. A consecutive sellout streak began in 1968 and is still alive today. No other NFL team can claim that long a string of sellouts. 1.
