1. He once "killed a man"- one female guest at one of Gatsby's parties gopes so far as say that when you look at Gatsby when he's not looking, you'd "bet he once killed a man."
2. He was a German spy in The Great War
3. He's the nephew of a germman Kaiser
4. That Gatsby is a bootlegger.
