I have the same problem in a 2000 Sebring. You can't pull the seat belts out of the seat's retractor. According to the owner's manual the seat belt mechanism needs power on to allow the seat belts to extend. When you open the door or put the key to accessory position power is allowed. The fuse for the seat belts is listed with the flashers and the flashers work ok. I will post more after I fix it.
There is a wire connector under the seat that controls the seat belt mechanism. You have to make sure it is connected otherwise the seat belt will remain in the stuck position. I had the same problem, seat belt was stuck and I couldn't use it. I discovered the wire wasn't connected under the seat. Once I reconnected it and turned on the car I was able to pull the seat belt out.
I have a convertible and had this problem. Fixed when i put the key in the driver side door and locked and unlocked it. It reset the alarm. Hope this helps.
A 2007 Chrysler Sebring that will not shift out of Park will probably need a shift solenoid replaced. This is inside the transmission and the transmission might have to be taken out of the vehicle to be fixed.
Car will stall, rpm goes to 0. Starts back in minutes. As it gets worse it will take longer to start, and wait times will be longer. You lose power steering, and brakes so this needs to be fixed..
I have a 1996 Chrysler sebring convertible and I have had a new battery go bad three times in two years. Chrysler dealers across America could not solve the problem. I wound up stranded in a little town called Olds, Alberta, about 60 miles north of Calgary, Alberta, on a weekend in a hail storm and my car would not start. The nearest Chrysler Dealer in town fixed the problem in a couple hours. The problem was a faulty fuel-pump sending unit which caused a slow electrical power leak from the battery.
I have an 01 Sebring Convertible, and the only way I fixed my window was the following. I went to Car-Part.com found the part, called around for the window with the attached fabric. Found someone willing to ship that piece to me. Got it for 1/6 of the dealer price. Found a seamstress and had it sewn in for dirt cheap. Quick fix. Hope this helps.
That type of problem should be fixed by a trained mechanic. Serious issues could arise if not fixed.
no.. just get one outta a junker... its either the speedo cable itself or the dash clock.. either way neither can be fixed
yeah... i have a 2007 Chrysler sebring, MY issue was a recall on the tire pressure sensors.... apparently they can cause a short circut and cause inoperative cruise control and engine stalling... Chrysler refuses to fix the car. at all.. if its not in warranty it wont get fixed for fre.. the recall number is H07 also you can go to the crysler web site to see if your vehicle is affected by this recall.
I have a Chrysler Cirrus , and I just got my wheel front passenger side fixed... 208 dollars. I'm pissed
This means that the compass is in the calibration mode. If you have a Chrysler Sebring owners manual, it will help you finish the calibration for the area you live in. When you look it up, go to the "Index" section of the manual and you will find it. If I remembered or have my manual on me as I type this, I would just write what to do. Just read through it and you will find the section to get you back to "normal" operation. Take care and good luck :)
if the problem is fixed, then whoever fixed it should have reset it. if it isn't fixed, fix it.
The fixed-exchange-rate system collapsed.
