There doesn't appear to be any connection between Hugo E. Blick and Jack Nicholson, but they do look a lot alike. Apparently, it was just a case of really good casting - finding a young actor that had the same kind of manic/cheeky grin that Nicholson. This is from an interview he did a while back:
"I was a writer working on a project at Pinewood. Legend has it that Nicholson saw me wondering the corridors. I do remember being called to meet Tim Burton where he had me say this weird line and grin."

There is only one which is named "Batman" and it's from 1966. Batman is played by Adam West, Robin is played by Burt Ward and Alfred is played by Alan Napier. But in 2014, there will be a new TV show, named The Caped Crusader.

Ceasar Romero was the first joker in a TV series back in the 1960's, but the Joker's character was half based on Conrad Veidt's character in The Man who Laughs back in the 20s, & many concider him to be the first.
