It is not clear whether George Washington ever went to school at all. He was apparently educated wholly or primarily at home, by his mother and later his half-brother Lawrence. Today he would be referred to as "homeschooled", though in his own time this was common enough not tio require a special name. At all events, he certainly never attended College. His education was definitely over by age 16, when he worked on a team surveying the Fairfax lands in the Shenandoah Valley. The following year he went into the surveying business on his own account.
Washington's schooling is a mystery. Somebody taught him the basics -- probably a tutor or schoolmaster who came to his plantation on occasion. He did not go to any known school or college. He learned surveying possibly with some instruction at the College of Wm. and Mary.
He was 15 when he completed his tutoring, and did not receive any formal high school or college education due to the death of his father when he was 11. He learned surveying when he received an official appointment in Culpepper County (thanks to the powerful Fairfax family of Virginia, with which his family was close).
Little is known about his childhood, but he was home schooled and studied with the local church sexton and a schoolmaster in math, geography, Latin, and the English classics. He also learned from the backwoods men and plantation foreman on how to grow tobacco, stock raising, and surveying. When his father died he was 11 years old and he went to live with his half brother. There he learned the finer aspects of colonial culture. In 1748 he traveled with a surveying party plotting land in Virginia's western territory and in the following year became the official surveyor of Culpeper County for 2 years. Washington's brother died in 1752 and his brothers only child died 2 months later. This made Washington the head of one of the most prominent estates in Virginia and he was only 20 years old.
No. He was promised to, but after his father (Augustine Washington) died, there was not enough money.
He attended school in Fredericksburg until age 15.
Washington most likely did not go to school. Somebody on the plantation taught him the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic.

In Scotland secondary schools start around 8.30am and finish around 3.30pm, that's what time my school starts and finishes at! Although it depends on the school. Its between 8.30-9.00am start and between 3.15-3.45pm finish. Hope this helped.
