Yes! 2GB is a good Amount of RAM depending on your Operating System, In Windows Vista Or 7 Minimum Is 1GB and Recommended is at least 2GB, but on XP you might only need 1GB. But this depends on what programs you run and if you are a do heavy multitasking or not. Remember, The More The Better! Gaming should be around 4GB to 8GB depending on the games you play running windows 7 or higher.
Hope this Helps! :)
It's the minimum that you need for good performance if you are running Vista, and even with XP you need it if you are going to do any image processing -- especially video. Memory is cheap. Get as much as you can. It's the cheapest way to increase performance.
That all depends on what you use a computer for, or what you plan on using it for. If you are going to have a lot of programs open then I recommend 4-6 GB memory. If you are going to GAME a lot, then 6-8 would make games a fantastic experience. 2 GB is for if you use simple programs, Simple games, and/or Documents.
it is a fair amount. It depends on what you are going to use it for. If you are going to use it for gaming your fine. if you use it for work or something than its very good for it. In all it is a bit better than your average computer. Yes , it more than the average computer.
a lot is very vauge. my answer is no, considering you can get hard drives with 1000gb of memory. however if it is for taking pictures then yes it is a fair amount of memory
For a hard disk, no, it's tiny, for a USB flash it's a bit small (there are some with 256GB) and for a RAM it's OK (max. 24GB!)
2 Gigabytes are about 2000(exactely 2024) MB. It depends on what you want to do with these. But basically you can say that nowadays 2 gb are far too less for most things.
Not really.
memory doesn't really deal with the speed of the computer
If you are running Windows XP its very fast. If you are running windows Vista or 7 2GB is good enough, though not super fast.

On the computer ad, you'd be looking for at least 2-3 gigabytes of ram. Nowadays, 2gb is considered minimal. If you don't want to buy a new computer, ram extensions are also available and can be inserted into the computer to increase memory by a certain amount.
PB Photo Video, Amazon, Become, Walmart and Best Buy all carry the PC3200 2GB memory. Price Watch is a good site to check out for information on who would be the cheapest and what the reviews are on them.
